The development represents a successful delivery for one of our most valued Clients. The building is a great example of Derwent London’s 2030 sustainability strategy to reduce both embodied and operational carbon, and has achieved BREEAM Outstanding, targeting LEED Platinum and an embodied carbon score of 787kgCO2m2.
Its captivating façade, characterized by a harmonious blend of glass, steel, and brick, creates a striking visual statement, while its thoughtfully designed interior spaces provide a seamless fusion of functionality and aesthetic appeal, making it a true gem in the urban landscape.
B&CO were appointed as Project Manager and Employers Agent in 2018 and lead the project through the demolition of the existing building and the handover of the site to Skanska for the main contract works. The delivery of this project reinforced our relationships with the appointed Designers, Contractors and Client and is currently the largest single development we have delivered at B&CO, although we anticipate this to be surpassed in 2023.
