Meet the Team Mondays! Every couple weeks we will be sharing interviews with members of our B&CO team, starting with our resident Welshman Owen Walrond.

Owen joined B&CO in 2022 having previously worked on the Pears Maudsley Centre for Children and Young People’s Mental Health in South London. Having studied Construction Management at the University of Reading, Owen is now working towards his RICS accreditation, and is actively involved in student engagement for B&CO.

Thrilled to announce not one, not two but three fantastic internal promotions recognising the hard work and dedication of our team!

Cameron Rae has shown remarkable resilience and talent since joining us. He’s exceeded expectations and consistently demonstrates his strong organisational and project management abilities. It’s a pleasure to announce Cam’s promotion to Associate.

Lois Bell has consistently moved from strength to strength since joining us as a Project Coordinator. Her impressive growth is evident in successfully managing and closing out recent fit-out projects. We’re delighted to announce that Lois has now been promoted to Project Manager.

Neil Fleming joined us over three years ago in a shift from MEPH to Project Management, which has proven to be a brilliant move as his skills and dedication are a perfect fit for a great PM. Neil’s ability to take on an increased workload across a variety of projects and consistently deliver high quality results has earned him a well-deserved promotion to Associate as well.

Please join us in congratulating Cam, Lois and Neil on their well-earned promotions! We’re very proud and excited to see their continued growth and contributions to the team.

On Monday, Owen and Cam represented B&CO at the University of Reading Built Environment Careers Fair. It was a great opportunity to meet and talk to students from Construction and Architecture disciplines, and hopefully have inspired some future Project Managers!

Delighted to be showcasing these fantastic drone shots of our recently completed St Pancras Campus project, captured by BAM’s Aisling Murray.

The office building is part of the mixed-use development for W.RE and features extensive greening to terraces, use of high quality facade materials and superb workmanship.

It’s been a great project to work on and marks B&CO’s largest completed development to date. A huge congratulations to the whole project team for achieving PC!

We were recently invited by @structuretoneuk to attend the NextGen Mixed 5 A-Side Football Tournament where we enjoyed an afternoon of friendly competition and socialising with other teams within the industry. ⚽️

We battled through the stages of the tournament, and the rain, where we managed to make our way to the final facing @turnerandtownsendalinea and were able to claim victory in a very well fought match. 🏆

We thoroughly enjoyed the day and would like to extend a massive thank you to Structure Tone for organising. Looking forward to next year’s competition where we will aim to defend our title. 💪🏼

We’re pleased to announce the pre-let of our project 334 Oxford Street - The M Building.

Situated in the prime location of London’s West End, BDO has signed a long-term lease for its new UK headquarters.

Once complete the former Debenhams building will provide almost 280,000 sq.ft of outstanding new workspace, with over 13,000 sq.ft of landscaped terracing and views across the capital.
